Continuation
A pattern or signal indicating that the current price trend is likely to persist in the same direction. Continuation patterns include flags, pennants, and triangles that resolve in the trend direction.

“The bull flag on the 4-hour chart resolved as a continuation, with price breaking higher and extending the uptrend by another 15%.”
