Czech Koruny (CZK)

The Czech Koruna is the official currency of the Czech Republic, abbreviated as CZK in forex markets. It is a free-floating currency managed by the Czech National Bank, which uses monetary policy tools including interest rates and occasional foreign exchange interventions to maintain price stability. The Czech Republic has not yet adopted the euro, and the CZK remains one of the most actively traded Central European currencies.

Example

A forex trader monitors EUR/CZK, one of the most actively traded Czech Koruna pairs, knowing that monetary policy decisions by the Czech National Bank can cause significant movements in the exchange rate.
