Day Trading
Day trading is a trading style where all positions are opened and closed within the same trading day, with no positions held overnight. Day traders capitalize on intraday price movements using leverage, technical analysis, and tight risk management to generate profits from short-term volatility. This approach requires significant time commitment during market hours and is commonly practiced in equities, forex, and futures markets.
Example
“She day-traded the EUR/USD pair during the London session, entering three scalp trades and closing all positions before the New York open.”
