Ether
Ether (ETH) is the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum blockchain. It is used to pay for transaction fees (gas) and computational services on the network, and is the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.
Example
“The user needed 0.005 ETH to cover gas fees when swapping tokens on Uniswap, so she made sure to keep a small Ether balance in her wallet at all times for transaction costs.”
