Fed Dot Plot
The Fed Dot Plot is a chart published quarterly by the Federal Reserve showing each FOMC member's projection for the federal funds rate at the end of each year. It provides insight into the expected pace and direction of future interest rate changes.
Example
“The latest Fed Dot Plot showed most members projecting three rate cuts in the coming year, causing bond yields to drop and equity markets to rally on the dovish outlook.”
