Indicative Quote
A price quote provided by a dealer or broker that is for informational purposes only and is not a firm commitment to trade at that price. Unlike executable quotes, indicative quotes are not binding.
Example
“For example, a broker might display an indicative quote of 1.0850/1.0852 for EUR/USD, but when a trader tries to execute, the actual fill price could differ by several pips.”
