Keltner Channel

A volatility-based indicator consisting of an EMA center line with upper and lower bands based on ATR. Similar to Bollinger Bands but uses ATR instead of standard deviation.

Example

For example, when price breaks above the upper Keltner Channel band during a squeeze, it often signals the start of a strong uptrend, and traders may enter long positions targeting the next resistance level.
