Resistance Level
A price level where an uptrend tends to pause due to a concentration of supply (selling interest). When the price rises to resistance, sellers tend to step in.
Example
“After identifying a resistance level at $150 on the daily chart of AAPL, a swing trader places a limit sell order at $149.50 to take profit just before the expected selling zone.”
