Round Trip
A complete trading cycle consisting of both opening and closing a position. In forex, it refers to buying and then selling (or selling and then buying) a currency pair, including all associated transaction costs.
Example
“A day trader completed a round trip on EUR/USD by buying at 1.0850 and selling at 1.0880, netting 30 pips minus the spread cost on both the entry and exit.”
