Rounding Bottom

A bullish reversal chart pattern that resembles a U-shape or saucer, formed when price gradually transitions from a downtrend to an uptrend. The pattern indicates a slow shift in sentiment from bearish to bullish as selling pressure fades and buying interest gradually builds.

Example

Over a six-month period, Amazon's stock formed a rounding bottom between $85 and $100, with the gradual U-shaped curve breaking above the neckline at $100 and launching a 30% rally.
