Sideways Market
A market condition in which prices fluctuate within a horizontal range without establishing a clear upward or downward trend. Also known as a ranging or flat market.
Example
“Bitcoin traded in a sideways market between $58,000 and $62,000 for three weeks, frustrating trend-following traders who waited for a decisive breakout.”
