A slang term used by forex traders to refer to the Swiss franc (CHF) or currency pairs involving the Swiss franc, such as USD/CHF.
Example
“The desk trader said 'I'm short the Swissy' to indicate he had sold USD/CHF, betting the dollar would weaken against the Swiss franc.”
