FOMO
Fear Of Missing Out — the emotional anxiety that arises from seeing a market move without having a position. FOMO often leads to impulsive entries at poor prices and is a common psychological pitfall.
Example
“After watching Bitcoin rally 30% in a week without her, the trader FOMO'd into a market buy at the local top, only to see price correct 10% the following day.”
