Pivot Point
A price level calculated as the average of the high, low, and closing prices from the previous trading period. Used to determine potential support and resistance levels.
Example
“The daily pivot point calculated at $4,250 for the S&P 500 E-mini futures acted as support during the morning session, with price bouncing off it twice before continuing higher.”
